Contacting College Coaches

Contacting coaches to get yourself or if you're a parent, your child, recruited is as tedious as job applications.

The same worries and fears arise:

• How do I stand out ?
• What should I say ?
• How do I format my email ?

That's the obvious stuff, but a truly strategic player or parent will think about things that some would say are "out of the box."

Like what time is the coach likely to check their email? Are they on social media? Am I close to an upcoming game that I could go to and say hello?

These are all things that HAVE to be taken into consideration when it comes to reaching out to coaches to be recruited.

This is as important as a job interview, so be prepared.
