PLEASE NO REPETITIVE DRILLS & PROTECT GOAL AREAS
Our fields continue to take on a lot of water and are holding their own. However, we do need to follow guidelines for wet fields as written below.
I have closed the WEST end of Field 6, as it is saturated inside the Penalty-18 yard box until further notice. Field 5 West end is very soft; I suggest very carefully moving the goal out to at least to the penalty spot area.
SNOW: IF FIELDS SNOW-COVERED, PARTIALLY COVERED IS SNOW-COVERED; THE FIELDS ARE CLOSED PLEASE STAY OFF
Coaches, HYSA checks the fields mid-afternoon, makes decisions regarding safety and wear and tear of fields at that time, plenty of time to alert your teams.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
SPRING 2021 AS FIELDS RE-GROW;
Coaches, please do not run any repetitive drills. Use areas away from penalty boxes.
As always regarding wet fields: No repetitive drills/activities in the same spot, fitness/agility activities, please do so off the field and off the lines.
Puddles/standing water are to be avoided. Goal areas should be used sparingly when wet.
Abide by COVID - 19 Safety Guidelines and protocols and all recent updates from the Governor's and L&C County Health Dept. offices while using fields.
Mask mandate is still in effect unless you can keep socially distant at least six feet on the sidelines. During activities, masks do not have to be worn. Mask should be worn on the sidelines and coach masks up, please.
